Watervliet NY: Choir Workshop Scheduled for November 12th
A choir workshop -- “The Art and Techniques of Orthodox Choral Singing” -- will be held on Saturday, 12 November at Saint Basil Church in Watervliet NY. The workshop will explore and enable effective techniques for rehearsing and singing the liturgy. The workshop leader, Mark Bailey, will teach and explain the art and skills involved in singing as an a’ cappella choir. He will discuss, demonstrate, and facilitate active participation through liturgical music designed for worship in today's Church. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged.
